Useful Info

Risks & Liability You walk at your own risk. We will have walk leaders, it’s up to you to keep up and we cannot be held responsible if you lose your way. You can refer to the online maps if you get lost. We also can’t take responsibility for personal injury or loss or damage to any property.

Cost  Unless otherwise stated, all walks are free but must be booked in advance.

Walk Leaders Please be aware that all our walk leaders are volunteers.

Who can Join Anyone is welcome to join us but we would ask that there are no unaccompanied children under 18.

Photos We may take photos along the way to share on social media and through our website. If you don’t want to be in these photos, please let one of us know before the walk starts.

Dogs We are currently allowing dogs on leads for urban London and park-based walks. But, for countryside walks in Surrey and further afield, it’s a no to dogs on leads and off for the moment. We will review this in due course. If in doubt please contact us to check.

Toilets On urban walks there are usually plenty and we will point them out. On country walks, we will mention any available public toilets but sometimes outdoor wees are inevitable.

Weather We are unlikely to cancel the walk unless there are extreme weather conditions. Please check on the website before heading out on the day of the walk if unsure.

Alterations Walking Post reserves the right to alter walks and dates if unavoidable.

Timing Please arrive at the meeting point at least 10 minutes before the start of each walk. Walks will commence at the time given, whether all participants have arrived or not. All walks are connected to public transport so we will make sure the start times connect with trains and buses.
